Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort immediately responds to any major disaster in the continental United States. We contact the leadership of local Churches of Christ in or near a major disaster area. If the leadership says their local congregation wants to help, we send and turn over to that congregation truckloads of emergency food, personal hygiene, infant care, water, cleaning supplies, and pallets of additional basic needs, for them to distribute to the disaster victims. These supplies are to be given to anyone affected by the disaster, regardless of race, creed, origin, gender, or religious preference. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. that employs fifteen paid personnel. The success of our organization though is because of the hundreds of volunteers that help us. Volunteers help us pack the majority of these supplies in our Nashville warehouse so they are ready to be distributed as soon as they're received, even our truck drivers are volunteers. Local Church of Christ congregations across the country volunteer their time and distribute the provided supplies to the disaster victims in their area.

What WVBS Provides:
We produce material in a wide variety of formats, including DVDs, CDs, MP3s, Posters, Books, eBooks, Notebooks, Electronic Notebooks, and Websites. Over 1,800,000 tapes/DVDs and nearly 100,000 books have been sent throughout the world. Thousands of teaching posters, CDs, MP3s, as well as millions of pages of teaching materials have been distributed across the globe with some of the most popular materials being translated into many other languages. Our video websites provide a range of full-length, freely viewable resources including video, transcripts, charts and online books.
DVDs
We carry DVDs covering a wide-variety of topics, including in-depth coverage for every book of the Bible, as well as hundreds of Bible and Bible-related topics. With our material you can: learn to read Greek, study evidences for the Christian faith, grow your relationship with God, and listen to good Gospel sermons.
CDs
We have taken the audio tracks from many of our DVD courses, and recorded them on audio CDs. These audio lessons, including all of the Old and New Testament Bible book courses, are the same audio as found on the DVD. We continually try to take advantage of new technology and make material available for less money, so we have converted much of the audio material to MP3 format.
Websites
Many of our videos are available for free online through our Online Video website (Video.WVBS.org).
